Tee Set was a pop rock band formed in 1966 in Delft, Netherlands. They had a hit in 1970 with Ma Belle Amie. Got to #5 on the charts.
Although this awful song, "She Likes Weeds" never charted, apparently U.S. radio steered clear of it, not because of its arresting shittines, but because of the title.
Now if I could only find Daffodil Days by the Hobbits, I could put together a dismal flower power psychadelic mix.

Joe Strummer Plays Burning Lights

Last week, during our salute to the solo artist, Nick Mueller called in and tipped us off about a rare, one-off solo performance by Joe Strummer that he did for the Aki Kaurismaki film, Burning Lights. It's such a great song and I wish we could have played it on the air, but all we could find was a youtube video with poor quality audio unfit for the radio.
